  Situated on a quiet corner in old town, a la Lucia has fast become on of the neighborhoods favorite spots. We have been recognized by the Washingtonian magazine 2 years in a row as one of the areas top 100 restaurants.  Specializing in southern Italian cuisine, the dishes are simple, not trendy. Flavored by little more than the wonderfully fresh ingredients, the food here stays true to a traditional Italian table.

  To compliment this fabulous food, we have an amazing selection of wines chosen by our owner Michael Nayeri.  Michael is better known for his years working with Roberto Donna at Galileo.  He was responsible for selecting Galileo’s award winning wines for over 18 years.  He continues to share his passion for fine food and great wine through his own creation, a la Lucia…
